The map, drawn in 2025 and signed by Gov. Greg Abbott, is engineered to net Republicans five additional House seats and reshape several urban districts. The ruling clears the way for the new lines to be used while litigation continues, putting vulnerable Democrats — including Reps. Jasmine Crockett and Al Green — at risk of losing their seats.
