Colin Demarco, 26, was arrested Jan. 22 after allegedly traveling from his Rockville, Maryland, home to the Arlington residence of Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought. According to a criminal complaint and U.S. Marshals investigators, Demarco was captured on a Ring doorbell on Aug. 10 at Vought’s front door and told agents he sought to confront Vought over Project 2025. Authorities say investigators found notes including a manifesto, a “Body Disposal Guide,” and Discord messages expressing violent intent; Demarco denied having a weapon.
